Infant Care
Early positive interactions and meaningful partnerships with parents are the cornerstones of our infant care program. We strive to provide a warm, welcoming environment where your baby can grow from a bundle of joy to a bundle of curiosity. Your baby’s primary caregiver is a nurturing child development professional who is focused on creating experiences and opportunities that invite exploration and support the rapid and important development that is occurring in a child’s first years. Further we like to personalize care based on each child’s unique schedule, nutritional guidelines, and/ other needs.
Our teachers spend lots of time cuddling and talking to your baby to instill trust and provide a healthy early learning environment for movement, exploration and communication.
Our infant care play area is filled with toys and books that help your baby develop at his or her own pace. Teachers sing songs and read stories to encourage language acquisition. Motor skills are also developed by encouraging play with age appropriate toys. In many Goddard Schools, American Sign Language is introduced to encourage children to express their thoughts or needs. Goddard Teachers also work with the parents to ensure a balance of home and school. Together they develop the child’s daily schedule including nap times, play times and bottle times.
We are dedicated to helping your child transition from Infant to Toddler as successfully as possible by demonstrating new vocabulary and introducing self-help skills.
